Queensland - 2021 COVID-19 Business Support Grants

The Business QLD website contains further information in relation to eligibility for the one-off grant of $5,000, for businesses or not-for-profit (NFP) organisations that have been impacted by the recent COVID-19 lock downs.
 
Small and medium businesses must have a turnover of more than $75,000 pa and have an annual payroll in Queensland of no more than $10m.
 
Various criteria applies to small and medium businesses, small and medium NFPs, and large tourism and hospitality businesses and NFPs.
 
Eligible applicants can use the grant for various business expenses.

NSW - 2021 COVID-19 Business Grant AND Jobsaver Payment

COVID-19 Business Grant

If you’re a business, sole trader or not-for-profit organisation in NSW and you’ve been impacted by the recent COVID-19 restrictions, you may be eligible for a one-off grant of $7,500, $10,500 or $15,000.

The 2021 COVID-19 business grant provides support for businesses that experienced reduced demand or had to close due to the public health orders. It will provide businesses with cash flow support for the first 3 weeks of the Greater Sydney lockdown (26 June to 17 July 2021).

Jobsaver Payment
 
If you’re a business, sole trader or not-for-profit organisation in NSW and you’ve been impacted by the recent COVID-19 restrictions, you may be eligible for the 2021 COVID-19 JobSaver payment.
 
JobSaver will provide cash flow support to impacted businesses to help maintain their NSW employee headcount from 13 July 2021.
 
Applications are open and will close 18 October 2021.

COVID-19 Disaster Payment

This is a support payment to help workers unable to earn income due to a COVID-19 state public health order. This may involve a lockdown, hotspot or movement restrictions.

The type of payment you may be able to get depends on if you get an eligible Centrelink payment or not.

Pandemic Leave Disaster Payment

This is a support payment if you can’t earn an income because you must self-isolate or quarantine, or are caring for someone with COVID-19.

Various eligibility rules apply. The easiest way to claim is over the phone with Centrelink.
